Getting along with fellow students

The course would not be complete without visits to some of the cultural highlights of the host country.

These excursions are a fantastic way of learning more about the local language and customs outside the classroom, and sharing unforgettable experiences with fellow students.

They are also excellent occasions on which to speak English.

Talking to local people in the towns visited, buying gifts and asking questions in a shop are excellent ways of using the English learned in class, and indeed these situations have an educational value as great as even the best classroom hours at the College.

Students visit numerous English towns and cities under the watchful eye of their monitors.

Our four-week courses include full-day excursions to London , Canterbury and Brighton , where students visit monuments, museums and tourist highlights.

Optionally, excursions not included in the general course fee may also be arranged. These may be full-day ( Cambridge , Oxford , Windsor & Eaton and Winchester ) or half-day trips ( Rye , Battle , Eastbourne & Ashford).
