Classes and activities in English or Spanish

The course features a great many open-air activities, so the role of monitors is particularly important.

It is their job to help students focus fully on their language learning, and to guarantee that they are safe and well cared for. Most of our monitors are former students on our courses.

Most of the teachers on our language courses at Valle de Villaverde are native speakers of English and Spanish. Students undergo an initial test to determine their level of English, and groups of 15 students are formed accordingly, on four different language levels.

At Valle de Villaverde we offer a full programme of studies featuring continual contact with nature and stressing environmental values. Students attend specific workshops in which they learn English or Spanish in a relaxed, fun atmosphere

The programme comprises: 20 x 60 minute classes per week. 15 open classes per week with a teacher and monitor. 4 English/Spanish language levels and groups of 15 students. 5 environment related classes per week.

Students have the following timetable: 8:30 Get up 09:00 - 10:00 Breakfast 10:00 - 14:00 English/ Spanish classes 14:00 - 15:00 Lunch 15:00 - 16:00 Tiempo libre 16:00 - 18:00 Free time / Sports 18:00 - 18:30 Tea 18:30 - 20:00 Environmental activities 20:00 - 21:00 Dinner 21:00 - 22:00 Free time 22:00 Students retire to their rooms
