OUTINGS

Each outing becomes the best practical class on English language and history

Outings organised by the College

Another of the mainstays of our courses is to ensure that our students learn as much as they can about the United Kingdom. These outings are a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the English language and culture outside the classroom and for students to share unforgettable experiences.

All these fun times provide an excellent opportunity to speak English.

Included in the fee for four-week courses are daytrips to London, Canterbury and Brighton, and the two- and three-week courses include two daytrips, one to London and the other to Canterbury or Brighton.

There is also the option of Sunday daytrips, which are not included in the course fee. The cities visited are Cambridge, Oxford and Windsor.

Each teacher organises a weekly half-day trip with their class to places of great charm that are near to Hastings, such as Rye, Battle, Eastbourne and Ashford. Although these outings are optional, almost all the students tend to go on them, as the teacher takes part in the trip.

Optional outings incurring an additional charge:
Cambridge Rye
Oxford Battle
Windsor & Eaton Eastbourne
Winchester Ashford
